In line with the university’s strategic plan to be among the top 100 universities in the world with the approach of a third-generation university, the establishment of the Kish International Campus was planned and prepared. By obtaining permission from the university’s board of trustees and the necessary permits from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in late 2017, the Kish International Campus was established. This campus has been designed and established in line with the fulfillment of Article 64, Clause A, of the National Development Law, and with due regard to the educational and research capacities available in the Persian Gulf region and the possibility of expanding international communications.
Entering the arena of international competition to provide educational and research services, setting up the International Campus Open Education Center with priority to attract non-Iranian students and Iranians residing abroad in compliance with the necessary standards, setting up the International Events Center, and setting up the Center for Investment and Development of Knowledge-Based Companies are among the main axes of this unit’s activities.

In this regard, with the support of the University’s Faculty of Management, Science and Technology; the educational activities of the Kish International Campus have officially begun in February 2018 with the admission of students in the following two fields at the master’s level.
Business Administration (MBA)
Information Technology Engineering (IT)

Postgraduate education and quality improvement of managers and senior experts of organizations, especially in information technology, management and entrepreneurship, are considered short-term goals of this unit.
