Abstract of the thesis:

Background: The rapid advancement of technologies requires a forward-looking approach in the study of metaverse-based technologies. This research uses the Delphi method, as one of the effective techniques in futures studies, to collect and analyze expert opinions. The aim of this research is to identify and analyze the prospects, opportunities, and challenges facing metaverse-based technologies, in order to provide a roadmap for developers, policymakers, and stakeholders to make informed decisions about the future of these technologies.

Objective: The main objective of this research is to predict and assess future trends and impacts of metaverse-based technologies in various sectors. Specific objectives include identifying key current and future trends, analyzing leading experts’ perspectives on opportunities and challenges, providing policy and strategic suggestions, and developing a forecasting framework to aid informed decision-making.
