December 13, the final Wednesday of the research week, we traveled to MAPNA Company with a group of faculty members from the Faculty of Management, Science and Technology of Amirkabir University of Technology and a group of friends who will be future business managers.
We were with the faculty and our hearts were filled with planning; our visit began with MAPNA Electrical Engineering, Construction and Control Company (MECO) and the production line of power substations and continued with a driving experience of electric vehicles produced by that company. Then we visited the production lines of turbine blades of Parto Company and gas turbines of Toga Company.
We were visiting and a parallel group of faculty members, with MAPNA Company managers, centered on MECO Company, were planning future joint work between the faculty’s Innovation Research Laboratory and MECO Company’s Open Innovation Laboratory. A memorandum of understanding was signed to plan and implement the faculty’s research projects in the field of game-based promotion of innovation and technology managers and business models of Internet of Things-based services with the joint experiences of the two laboratories.
It seems that now it is our turn as students to start research projects and prepare ourselves for business management by helping today’s business managers.
