Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Faculty of Management, Science and Technology and MAPNA Electrical and Control Engineering and Construction Company (MECO)

In order to expand its relations with various businesses and policy-making institutions, the Faculty of Science and Technology Management signed and exchanged a memorandum of understanding with MAPNA Electrical and Control Engineering, Manufacturing and Construction Company (MECO) on Wednesday, December 13, 1401 (Azerbaijan). This memorandum of understanding was signed simultaneously with a joint visit by faculty members and students from different departments of MAPNA Company, between the Faculty’s Innovation Research Laboratory and MECO Company’s Open Innovation Laboratory.

This memorandum of understanding was jointly signed by Dr. Majidpour, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Rafan, CEO of MECO Company, in the presence of Dr. Aliabadi, CEO of MAPNA Company.

Dr. Aliabadi referred to the experience of advanced scientific horizons and knowledge-based learning at MAPNA Company influenced by the Islamic Republic’s perspective, and Dr. Rafan considered it the fruit of self-confidence in university specialists and graduates that has been manifested in the dynamic environment of MAPNA Company. Dr. Aliabadi emphasized MAPNA’s readiness to establish lasting relations with the faculty, and Dr. Rafan presented the signed memorandum of understanding as a start for joint cooperation.

As part of this meeting, the production line and planning departments of MECO, Motive Power, Toga, and Parto were visited by the students, and meetings were held between faculty members and MAPNA managers, and preparations for starting work were planned in the presence of Dr. Salimi, head of the faculty’s innovation research laboratory, and head of MECO’s open innovation laboratory.
