In a decree issued by Dr. Seyed Ali Madanizadeh, Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, Dr. Morteza Zamanian was introduced as the acting deputy of the Ministry of Economic Policy and Strategy.

Dr. Zamanian is a member of the faculty of the Department of Economics and Finance, Faculty of Management, Science and Technology, Amirkabir University of Technology.

Dr. Zamanian is responsible for studies on business licensing facilitation plans in the Production Leap Commission in the Parliament, pilot implementation of the gasoline quota allocation plan for households, reform of the subsidy system in the flour and bread sector, examination of different pricing patterns for energy carriers, and a partner and advisor in the capital gains tax plan, amendment of the law implementing the policies of Article 44 of the Constitution, the banking law, and studies on the national regulatory system.

Dr. Zamanian’s work record includes membership in the Economic Council of the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation, economic advisor to the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and director of the Economics Group of the Sharif Governance Think Tank.
