The closing ceremony of the first advanced course in business management in mines was held at the Faculty of Management, Science and Technology of Amirkabir University of Technology.
According to the public relations report of Amirkabir University of Technology: Dr. Mehdi Majidpour, Dean of the Faculty of Management, Science and Technology, announced this news and said: This course was designed and implemented for the first time in the country by the Faculty of Management of Amirkabir University of Technology and in cooperation with the Iranian Mining House.
He added: This 2-year course is the result of numerous efforts, interactions and discussions between Amirkabir University of Technology and the country’s mining companies and organizations.
The Dean of the Faculty of Management, Science and Technology stated: The first advanced course in business management in the mining and mining industries sector was successfully completed and certificates were awarded to the students of the mining industries sector.


This professor at Amirkabir University of Technology noted: This course lasted from 1401 to Shahrivar 1403. During this course, valuable courses including innovation and technology management, strategic management, human resource management, marketing and brand-building management, macroeconomics and economic analysis, investment and stock market management, and technology development strategy in mining industries were taught in the presence of prominent professors including faculty members of Amirkabir University of Technology and managers of the country.
He emphasized: The necessary planning for holding the second course is underway. It is hoped that with the continuation and continuity of such courses, a great step will be taken to improve the management of companies active in the mining and mining industries.
Continuing the ceremony, Engineer Mohammad Reza Bahraman, head of the Iranian Mining House, emphasized the need for sustainable investment in education and said: If you spend a coin on education today, you have built up two years of scientific and experience for the future of the country. Education is the main pillar of development and safety in mines.
He added: “Given the increasing developments in mining technologies, environmental requirements, economic efficiency and safety, empowering middle and senior managers in the mining sector is essential and inevitable.”
Dr. Mehdi Majidpour, Dean of the Faculty of Management, Science and Technology, Dr. Morteza Zamanian, Director of the course, and Eng. Bahraman, Director of the Iranian Mining House, were present at the ceremony.
A group of managers and experts from the country’s mining companies also attended the meeting and expressed their views on the importance of training for managers.
At the end of the meeting, the students received certificates of completion of the course.
