On the 2nd of Dey, 1404 (December 23, 2025), the Faculty of Management, Science, and Technology, in collaboration with the Scientific Association of Management, held a joyful and unforgettable evening to celebrate the Iranian Yalda night for students and esteemed professors.
Using cultural platforms for academic gatherings is one of the arts of faculties and scientific associations. In this event, both the theme of Yalda night and the poetry of ancient poets, symbolizing the transition from darkness to light, were shared. A reading of Hafez’s poetry was also included, along with an exercise for developing future businesses in Iran.
In the “Management Startup Game,” four random words, proposed by professors as judges of the competition, were given to student groups. The groups then had less than 20 minutes to present their startup ideas, followed by answering questions from the judges regarding marketability, technological readiness, and the potential for return on investment.
The traditional catering of the event evoked happy moments based on Iranian culture for the guests.
May we continue to have the opportunity to experience such scientific gatherings during future Yalda celebrations.
